WHAT
HE LIKES: |
The planet Mars, the planet Venus, the Moons of Jupiter, Space Travel, Mac OS X, e**(j*pi)=-1, interplanetary dialects, comic books, all things goth, ballet, Bollywood | PAST: |
Mark was conceived on Venus and born on Mars, which he still considers his
true home. Earth is a sad compromise between the two. Having crash-landed
in Alabama right outside NASA headquarters while still an infant, his
post-natal background is not unlike that of Superman's, only without the
powers. He had always assumed he would lead the first Earthian Mars
landing, but the current US President has now pushed that mission back to
the year 2030, so he has settled instead on using his position as synth
maestro in the intergalactic band "moonlife" as a way to grease the
diplomatic channels. For the full story (note that names were changed due
to Pluto's copyright laws), see Peter Bagge & Gilbert Hernandez' "Yeah!" from DC Comics (1999-2000). | WHAT
